Description
Woman’s bustle or petticoat in cotton sateen printed with a design of flowers and foliage in light blue, light pink, cream, light brown, orange and dark brown against a brown background, padded with down. Drawstring at waist, three-quarter-length, A-line panels at front, centre back panel with eight horizontal large pouches between groups of small horizontal zig-zag lines of quilting to create bustle. Wadded quilting filled with down. Lined red plain-weave cotton with piped hem. Cream label printed in black 'McLintocks Patent Purified Russian Down Skirt No.7 - 34 inches’.
